Deputy Production Manager

Job Description

Our client, an award-winning food production company is seeking an experienced Deputy Production Manager to make a significant impact within the organisation. Currently experiencing strong growth, our client has exciting plans to expand to a neighbouring town.

In this role, you will assist the Production Manager with day-to-day operations, overseeing a team of up to 30 production operatives. You will play a key role in supporting the company's growth and expansion, managing costs, training employees, ensuring health and safety compliance, maintaining food safety standards and enhancing customer satisfaction. (Please note, this list is not exhaustive and additional responsibilities will arise).

We are seeking a candidate who is eager to grow within the company and has a proactive, can-do attitude. While fluency in Mandarin and experience with BRC standards would be advantageous, they are not essential. Also, the ideal candidate will be keen to join a growing team and contribute to its success.

The salary for this role ranges from £35,000 to £40,000, depending on experience, with the option for overtime at 1.3x pay on weekends. Standard working hours are Monday to Friday, 7 am to 4 pm.
