Job Description

Are you an experienced Moulding Technician looking to take the next step in your career? Our client, a leading company in the hygiene industry, is seeking an experienced Injection Moulding Technician. With a strong reputation for innovation, quality, and continuous improvement, this company is investing heavily in its future and is looking for someone who shares their drive and ambition.

This role will see you take responsibility for operating and maintaining a range of injection moulding machines and automated assembly equipment. You will be involved in tool changes, process optimisation, and ensuring machinery runs safely and efficiently in line with maintenance standards. Working closely with the wider manufacturing and quality teams, you'll help implement lean initiatives and continuous improvement projects aimed at enhancing both product quality and production flow.

The successful candidate will also play an important role in mentoring and developing junior staff, supporting apprentices and trainees through their development programmes. As part of a group-wide approach to moulding excellence, you will be expected to contribute across multiple sites, offering technical support, troubleshooting, and helping to introduce new tools and equipment where needed.

Offering a competitive salary of £40,000 - £45,000, this role also includes a fantastic benefits package, including private medical insurance, life assurance at twice the annual salary, a 4% company pension scheme, 23 days of annual leave plus bank holidays, a long service holiday award after five years and access to their Benefit Hub. Additional perks include a cycle to work scheme and a 28-day free Brighton & Hove Bus Saver.

To be considered for this role, you should have strong hands-on experience in plastic injection moulding and tool-setting within a manufacturing environment. You'll need to be technically minded, capable of working independently, and confident in leading improvement initiatives such as 6S, TPM, and Kaizen. A full UK driving licence is essential, as travel between sites may be required.
