Location: Portsmouth, UK
Position: Temporary Glass Production Operative
Shifts: Monday to Friday, Early Shift or Late Shift

Company Overview:
Join our client's dynamic team in Portsmouth as a Glass Production Operative. This company specialises in high-quality glass products, including double glazing. We're seeking motivated individuals to support their production processes on a temporary basis, ensuring the smooth and efficient movement, assembly, and inspection of glass products.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Handling and Moving Glass Panes: Safely transport glass panes within the factory, adhering to safety protocols.
  • Assembly and Bonding: Assist in the bonding of glass panes to create double-glazed units, ensuring precision and quality.
  • Visual Inspection: Conduct thorough visual inspections to identify any defects or imperfections in the glass products, maintaining our high-quality standards.

Working Hours:
This role offers flexibility with two shifts available:

  • Early Shift: 06:00 - 14:15
  • Late Shift: 14:45 - 23:00

Requirements:

  • Previous experience in a production or manufacturing environment is required.
  • Ability to handle glass safely and with care.
  • Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality.
  • Reliable and punctual, with the ability to work independently or as part of a team.
  • Experience with glass manufacturing or in glass factories would be very advantageous!
