Job Description

Are you an experienced Toolmaker with manufacturing experience? Do you have experience making jigs, fixtures, clamps and moulds? Can you work from technical and engineering drawings? If so, this Tool Maker position is for you!

This Tool Maker position is working for a Rubber Moulding company in Aldershot. The working hours are Monday to Thursday, 7am to 16:30pm, with an early finish of 12pm on a Friday! The role is paying up to £40,000 depending on experience!

This Tool Maker position will see the successful candidate be responsible for making and improving all types of tooling used for the production process. This includes Jigs, Fixtures, Clamps and Moulds. They will be required to assist the Tooling Manager with internal and external tool manufacturing, aiding with maintenance, development and testing. They will also be required to offer support to production and engineering staff. It is important that this role helps enable meeting deadlines to ensure tools are brought to production on time.

You will need:

• Experience within a Tool Maker position
• Knowledge of injection moulding/CNC machinery
• Ability to read and work from engineering drawings
• Experience with grinding machines
• Experience with in plastic or rubber manufacturing would be beneficial
