Job Description
Join a multi-award-winning logistics provider delivering a wide range of products and services to retailers and wholesalers nationwide.
As a Warehouse Operative, your primary responsibility will be order picking, along with general warehouse duties. Key tasks include:
- Performing various tasks including: Goods-in, Put away, Replenishment, Picking, Loading, De-kitting, Recycling, and managing damages.
- Maintaining standards to meet the company's performance and productivity targets.
- Using appropriate Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) for different activities and temperature zones, ad following correct Health and Safety procedures.
- Assisting colleagues when needed and always behaving appropriately.
Requirements:
- Experience using Mechanical Handling Equipment (MHE), such as pump trucks.
- Comfortable working in a chilled environment at 2.5°C (warm clothing required).
- Availability to work at least one weekend day.
- Experience in environments where meeting deadlines and maintaining quality are critical.
- Good standard of written and verbal English.
Shift Patterns:
- Wednesday to Saturday, 19:00 - 07:00
Salary:
- £12 per hour
